“Growing Healthy Children” Symposium scheduled
Rachel Baldwin email@example.com
Last year, the “Our Children, Our Future” campaign held 48 meetings statewide. These community meetings are offered at no charge and are designed to be solution oriented and are the perfect place to acquire valuable information regarding children growing up in today’s constantly changing world, and assists in building strong relationships with your children, and allows parents and guardians to leave with concrete ways to effectively change.
The event will be held on Thursday, Oct. 24 at 5:30 p.m. inside the lobby of the Williamson Branch of the Southern West Virginia Community and Technical College in W. Williamson. The meeting will center around sharing solutions and ideas regarding the future of the children who call this area home, as well as a discussion that will be held concerning an overview of a dozen or so statewide policy issues up for debate in 2014.
If you do not have a babysitter for your children but would like to attend the Symposium, childcare will be made available, courtesy of the college. The local organizations participating in and sponsoring this event are the Williamson Housing Authority, the STOP Coalition, the Mingo County Diabetes Coalition, the Logan-Mingo MentalHealth Authority and the Family Resource Network.
If you have questions or need additional information on this event, you may contacts Sister Janet Petersworth of Christian Help and A.B.L.E. Families by emailing her at firstname.lastname@example.org.
