Families Leading Change is a state-wide, grassroots movement to improve our schools. Families Leading Change wishes to create a deep and broad statewide leadership team, travel the state and create a resource menu, assemble a parent leadership training program, and conduct a mini grant process where teams can apply.
Families Leading Change Director
Charlotte Norris recently joined the West Virginia Healthy Kids and Families Coalition as the program director for Families Leading Change, a state-wide family engagement initiative. Ms. Norris is an education advocate with over 30 years of experience in nonprofit management, public relations and fund development. She has served as a senior staff member with multiple Girl Scout councils. She is a founding member of the Burke Street Promise Neighborhood Initiative. Ms. Norris also serves on the Eastern West Virginia Community Foundation Board and the United Way of the Eastern Panhandle Board of Directors where she oversees the grant allocation process.
